Anne Bates (Hecuba)
Anne Bates appears in the upcoming season of Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, played Margaret in Good People at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and Laura in Paper Dreams of Harry Chin at IRT. Before playing Hecuba in Her Name Means Memory last summer with LRT, she helmed the role of Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Stuart at Pioneer Theatre. As a FAB founding member with The Barrow Group in NYC, she writes, directs, and performs new works. She garnered a *CCC nomination for Thousand Pines under Austin Pendleton’s direction at Westport Country Playhouse. Some Off-Broadway credits include Dan Cody’s Yacht at Manhattan Theatre Club, The Effect at Barrow Street Theatre with the National Theatre of London, Tartuffe and The Tempest with the Acting Company, Icebound and Alison’s House at Metropolitan Playhouse, Long Division at Abingdon Theatre where she received a *Best Supporting Nomination. TV: The Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, HBO’s Succession, Equalizer, New Amsterdam, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Law & Order, SVU, God Friended Me, Sneaky Pete, Us & Them, Unforgettable, 30 Rock. Janis Young (Xenia)
Janis was last seen at LRT’s Doll’s House, Part 2 as Annemarie. She’s performed at Williamstown Theatre Festival (Summer & Smoke/Alma) opposite Christopher Walken, Abe Lincoln in Illinois/Mary Todd Lincoln, The Man Who Came To Dinner/Harriot); Dorset Th. Festival (Superior Donuts, Good People; Rest); Hubbard Hall (Long Day's Journey Into Night/Mary Tyrone); Oldcastle Th. Co. (4000 Miles and other plays). Monique Vukovic (Andromache)
Monique is NYC based actor. Valeri Mudek (Cassandra/Helen)
A NYC-based actor who works in theater, film and television, Val appeared LRT’s Constellations last summer and is thrilled to return to this beloved company. She did the World Premiere productions of Tiny Kushner by Tony Kushner at the Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Tricycle Theater in London, as well as the World Premiere of The Carpenter, by Robert Askins (Hand to God) at Houston’s Alley Theatre. Susannah MacLeod (Lenci)
Susannah (she/they) is a NYC-based actor. Credits include: Pericles (Target Margin Theater); Aida (Metropolitan Opera); King Lear (Hamlet Isn’t Dead); Richard III, Macbeth (Commonwealth Shakespeare Co); Twelfth Night (Verdi Square Arts Festival); Both/And: A Quantum Physics Play (Catalyst Collaborative with MIT); Once a Blue Moon, Shahrazad (Double Edge Theatre); and the titular role in Richard III (Emerson Stage). Susannah spent a year training with New York’s SITI Company as a Conservatory Artist, and holds a BA in Acting from Emerson College.
Elizah Hill (Galyna)
Elizah HIll is an alumni of Circle in the Square’s Professional Theatre program, working and living in NYC. She recently appeared in a new Off-Broadway musical entitled Dream on Baranski, and won the Vermont Regional Broadway Award for her role as Hamlet in 2021 with Foul Contending Rebels. Other credits include Nina in The Seagull, Lydia in Pride and Prejudice and Helga in Cabaret. She is also a painter and a musician when not acting on stage and screen. Elizah is thrilled to be back with LRT, telling this story once more.
Xingrong Chen (Corra)
Xingrong is a graduate of the Circle in the Square Theater School who recently played the Nurse in the Chinese musical Murder Up in the Air at the Hudson Guild Theater. She is extremely grateful to return to Living Room Theatre after playing Siu Jing in LRT’s Three Sisters. Besides acting, she enjoys working as an events singer in NYC.
Randolyn Zinn (Playwright/Director)
New York Theatre Workshop, Williamstown Theatre Festival, New Georges, BACA Downtown, The Westbank Café, and LRT have produced Randolyn’s plays. As a director she has staged plays by Lorca, Chekhov, Ionesco, Strindberg, and Chuck Mee. Her choreography has served productions at the Guthrie, Baltimore Center Stage, the NY Philharmonic, Juilliard, on three films coaching Harvey Keitel, and on Broadway for Sunday in the Park with George — a chapter on her work for that musical appears in the book Putting It Together. Her writing has won prizes, including New School's Fiction Prize, several grants, and a travel fellowship to Spain. As an actor she has appeared on Broadway in The Rothschilds, at Long Wharf in The Knight of the Burning Pestle, in Frank, Frank at New Georges, The Soldier’s Tale at Lincoln Center, Portrait of Frida at Williamstown Theatre Festival, To See If I Could See Her at New York Theatre Workshop, in two indie films, and at LRT in Constellations, Nora in A Doll’s House, Part 2, and Masha in Three Sisters. Cynthia Flynt (Costume Designer)
Cynthia Flynt has designed costumes for over 30 years. Beginning with Matewan, Eight Men Out, and Passion Fish for John Sayles. Awakenings, A League of Their Own, The Preacher’s Wife, and Riding in Cars With Boys for Penny Marshall Most recently she has worked with Astute Films on An Interview With God, Queen Bees and Here Today. In between the films, there has been work in television, theater and commercials. She also taught Costume Arts at The Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan for 5 years.
